• Emphasize sentence structure and grammar by linking comprehension and writing in the “Writing Connections” of each book.
• Categorize ideas with graphics organizers to help answer questions
• Reinforce skills with twelve practice lessons where students can apply newly-learned skills to reading passages, and answer multiple-choice and short-answer questions
• Grammar skills include parts of speech, verb tenses, correct use of pronouns, and correct sentence structure. 
• Monitor student progress and double-check mastery of skills with a quick assessment at the end of each book

Teacher Guide contains answer keys for all five books and reproducible activities, including games and graphic organizers.
